If you are looking for a quiet nice holiday without too much tourism around. You should find out more about the fantastic place 'Trujillo' which is situated in the north-east of Honduras.

Garifuna's originally came from St.-Vincent. We are a mixture of african and indian carib.
Trujillo offer many nice natural wonders such as the national park capiro y calentura. Which is a tropical rainforest full of wonderfull fauna and flora.
There is also the lagoon of guaymoreto which is the natural habitat of the manate and a lot of different birds, alligators, mangroves.
You can visit it by boat from Trujillo or just take the bus to Castilla.
If you are into walking you can go and climb the mountain. There is a road that take you all the way to the top from where you can see the whole bay of Trujillo and also the islands Roatan and Guanaja. Which are known for the beautiful coral reefs.
